General Description

Ashgrove Cottage is a Victorian-style home located on the main street entering the old town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. We are a beautiful 10-15 minute walk from the centre of town with the Shaw Theatres, the shops and restaurants. A few minutes more will take you to historic Fort George or the walking and biking trails along the Niagara Parkway.

Our three upstairs bedrooms are very cozy and comfortable. Two are queen rooms with 3 piece ensuites (Bathroom is located in the room). The third room can be made up with either two twin beds or a king sized bed, -the private bath, with a tub/shower combination, is located across the hall. All rooms are air conditioned and are equiped with TV/DVD, free wireless high-speed internet, clock radio and small coffee maker.

A full breakfast is served at 8:30 in the dining room, including fresh fruit, a hot entree, home-made baked goods, tea,coffee and juice. Guests are always free to relax in the sitting room or enjoy a coffee on our large verandah.

A full hot breakfast is served in the dining room. The Boleslawiec (Polish) pottery adds a unique warmth and interest to the table. All breakfasts include a fresh fruit feature, hot entree, homemade baked goods, coffee, tea and juice.

From Q.E.W - take the Glendale north exit from the QEW. Follow to York Rd, turn left. Follow to Niagara Stone Rd and turn right. Niagara Stone Road becomes Mississauga Street as you enter the historic old town. Ashgrove Cottage is on the left hand side of the street, #487. If you reach the stoplight at Mary St, you have passed us.

From Queenston/Lewiston Bridge - Follow Hwy 405 to Q.E.W. Take the Glendale Ave. exit. Turn right (north) onto Glendale. Follow a short distance to York Rd. Turn left and go to Niagara Stone Rd. Turn right. Niagara Stone Rd becomes Mississauga St. as you enter the historic old town. Ashgrove Cottage is on the left hand side of the street, #487. If you reach the stoplight at Mary Street, you have gone too far.

From the Niagara Parkway - proceed to Queen St in old town Niagara-on-the-Lake(the parkway turns into Queen St). Continue west on Queen St until you reach Mississauga St. Turn left, go through the intersection at Mary St (with the stoplight) and we are just two houses past on the right hand side, - 487 Mississauga St.
